Der Klabautermann ist ein gutmütiger Schiffskobold. Und wie alle Kobolde ist auch er für seine Vorliebe für Schabernack bekannt. Hält er einen auch zum Narren, so dass man meinen könnte, man hat schon wieder etwas verlegt, obwohl man es grade noch gesehen hat. Trotzdem wissen vor allem diejenigen, die ihn schon einmal gehört haben, dass er immer ein Auge auf Alle auf See hat, und dass er aufkommende Stürme sicher vorhersagt.
